Our History: From Humble Beginnings to Global Recognition
Yarmouk University (YU), established by royal decree in 1976, is one of Jordan’s most distinguished and prestigious institutions of higher learning. As the second-oldest and largest state university in Jordan, YU is located in Irbid, just north of the capital city, Amman, offering unparalleled access to essential services for both students and their families.
